Do you know that a whopping 60% of the adult human body is made up of water? That’s right.
Water is the major component of most body parts. And you lose water every now and then through your saliva, tears, breath, sweat, urine and stool (bowel movements).
That’s why it’s important to often replenish and keep your body refreshed by taking a lot of water daily. Think of your body like an engine that often needs oil to keep it properly lubricated and functioning optimally. If an engine runs low on oil supply, it begins to malfunction. Likewise, when your body runs low on water content, problems arise.
Typically, that condition is called Dehydration. You can avoid that by taking sufficient amount of water per day. Don’t take water only when you want to eat. Take water freely – between meals.
If you want to know how much you should take daily, anything between 2 to 3 litres a day would be perfect. That’s about 8-10 glasses of water.
Commit to taking more water today, your body will thank you for it.
